Pinewood derby

Last year Jason and Jonah were able to make such a fast car that Jonah was District champion in his group. The two of them were very excited about this accomplishment. This year Jason had two cars to help with. Brenden and Jonah were excited to have a repeat of the the following year. We talked with them several times to help them understand not to expect to win this year. Even still they hoped in their hearts that they would win. Jason got into the spirit of it by building a track and racing each boys' car against last year's car. Linnea and I joked the Jason was having a 10 year old moment. Then the day came and they raced them at pack meeting. Jonah won in his group and Brenden out performed everybody to win the overall medal. I was glad that Jonah was very supportive his brother's accomplishment and didn't begrudge him of his happiness.

Disneyland

While we were in California we took the kids to Disneyland. We spent two days there, the first day we were there as a family alone. And on the second we spent the day with my sister Crystal and her family. Brenden wasn't always one for coasters but this trip he decided he wanted to go on California Screamin with Dad. Jason decided that this was a ride to remember so he brought the camera along for the ride. He caught some great footage! I was laughing so hard that I decided to share it with my family and friends.

I know that this is two christmas's late but I just figured out how to do this and so I thought I would post it anyway. She did such a great job and is developing a beautiful voice!
